Hi all,
I am new to welding, having done a (very small) amount in my early years when working on cars. Now in my 40's I bough a classic mini for my mid life crisis. Having done the mechanics, I now need to learn to fix bodywork, hence getting into welding.
This forum has more information than I could read in a lifetime, so really pleased to join.
I will be scouring the pages for advice on buy a decent, but reasonably priced, MIG. I have one already, but bought a cheap gasless one, which I am struggling with.
I am on the look out to buy a second hand MIG, so if anyone in the Bristol area is looking to offload one, message me. Also, if anyone know of any courses, or places to get scrap metal to practice, that would be amazing. Also, if you have a A series engine - I know bit about them, so can actually contribute.
Thanks,
Mark
