Heskin Steam and vintage rally

Had a rare day off from my responsibilities yesterday and had a grand day out at the local steam rally. I had a pass for exhibiting the RS but didnt fancy sitting with it all day, so went with the Discovery and took it round with the landrovers. Also gained a sunburnt head and a face full of coal smuts, and took advantage of the barrel laid on in the living van. Ive some videos that ill stick on youtube later.

Been at the Strumpshaw show since Wednesday, a great turn out

Heres the youtube stuff. The Faun is a one off. There were only 3 made The owner hauled with it all over South Africa. Upon learning they were to be scrapped, he successfully managed to buy it for the princely sum of £10,000. Shipping to the UK was another £8,000, and then ge was hit with import duty at another £10,000. Then there were the restoration costs. It has a 19 litre cummins, and pulling properly gets half a mile a gallon
