hey man, I'd like to see that! it must be more narrow that the mx5 lump. I had to mount mine quite far back too so that I could use the standard Mazda prop shaft with a modified input flange on the diff. Are you building something that's going to need an IVA?Coming along nicely. Shame about the rear chassis horns but them's the rules.
I'm putting a Ford Granada I4 in a part herald chassis'd rod, it sits a fair bit lower than yours.
It's going to be fairly low and I'm going to fit the floor to the underside of the chassis to eek as much space out of the interior as possible. I just think that if I have pipework running under the chassis that it's going to crash off of things.Instead of the exhaust being there why not under the passenger footwell and before the rear wheel?
Intake temps will be really high with the exhaust there
