i would use the MX5 back axle and suspension as the Herald swing axle is C--p
I would too if it allowed me to keep the ID for the herald, sadly it doesn't.i would use the MX5 back axle and suspension as the Herald swing axle is C--p
Hi Ken, Cobbler is correct, the input and output flanges on the 2lt cars was different to the 4 cylinder cars, off the top of my head I think the ratio for 4 cylinder was4:11, 2lt's were 3:89 but I seem to remember a 3:27 might be from GT6, long time since I have played with these cars. My Convertible with a either 3:89 or 3:27, that is what the race boys would have used, as I mentioned mine was raced with about 175bhp, now it has the twin carb set up probably 100bhp, 6 cylinder was high torque (I think that's right), but the GT4S I had with the race tuned engine 100bhp+ but with lightened and balanced engine etc it was also very quick in fibre glass body, There was a GT6 that was road going with a heavily modified 2000 taken out to 2300, with Nitros etc, that was very mean.
@Wallace it wasn't a convertible by any chance and painted orange?
I'm going back 30yrs but a mate had a similar sounding Minor
I was going to suggest a Fiat twin-cam, but you guys have bigger ideas
Nice idea....needs a roof chop too...
Choppy choppy. 8cm out of the roof. No welds on it yet though. Quite happy with the rear and side profiles but now think I'm going to have to widen the front grille, it's just a bit too cute.
