Henderson Up & Over - Increasing security?

Went to a set of lock-ups a couple of months ago and some rat had cut a perfect 3ft x 3ft hole in the bottom corner with a cordless grinder and 1mm disc...something to think about regarding putting plate on the inside before you go down the locks route

the answer to grinding holes to get in can be overcome by laminating behind the door with plywood then steel sheet grinders do not cut wood

exposed hinges..no good,2 mins with my Sthil and ime in...

That's why you add 2 in deep x four inch long dog bolts on the hinge side at top , bottom and in the middle and use a seven lever anti disc cutting dead mortice locks in two places on the lock side use single set of key suite or have two different ones like for gun cabinets .
The Euro locks with Yale type keys are fairly easy to jiggle to unlock according to some folk I used to know And unless they are of the anti drill /shear off ends latest top level security grade type the average one can be part drilled and torn out & opened very quietly .
If the hinge pins are capable of being taken out by a " G " type clamp and screw ram or a small 12 " long hand held hydraulic pin presser , pop a bit of weld on the top & bottom of the pins as well .

They were probably looking for something to eBay & consume such as " plant food " or a spade to open up the patio doors or something to stand on to pry a small transom window to put a kid or askinny git in through or all of that .
