Hi folks,
I'm wanting to make a octagonal fire pit for a customer, but can't work out what size I need the plates cut to, I want it 600mm across from flat to flat, and 200mm deep at the point, if it was flat I would need 8 of triangles with a 45degree centre angle, the opposite to that side would be approx 250mm and two sides at approx 325mm.
But this won't work for a 3D shape, and I'd rather not have to attack each piece with the grinder to get the required dish, can someone with a cad or modelling program is ork out what my sizes need to be to get the 200mm depth with a 600mm width?!
Cheers, Dan
