Hi folks i need help. ive got a midi cylinder (energas) which has been filled
with argoshield now empty my local welding supplies told me he can get it filled with argon for £45 pounds. so ok i said yes please picked it up today got it home.
when i put my new argon reg onto it i found that it had 120 bar so not looking good already but when i try to weld with it when it cooles down you get a type of
cracking and a dirty looking weld not a patch on the tig i used the other day
would this be caused because the post gas and down slope are not adjusted right or is it not argon i can hear the gas coming from the torch it is the type of stuff you get when using oxy and acetalyne
please advise cheers ocean
