I don’t think it brings anything positive to the party mate. Your still going round a small diameter but now you’ve given yourself something else to do with pressing and releasing the button and unless you get your timing and steps right you risk LOF.Depends how comfortable you are with going round a small diameter... YOU can probably do it really easily, as can a few on here... the OP by the looks of it, not so much.
And when it's something you WANT to look good, you need all the help you can get, I feel.
The beauty of 2T control is that you just blast around it as slow or fast as you're comfortable doing. I'm not saying I'd down-and-up-slope with every dab, but would probably "feather" it a bit. Similar to how people use foot pedals etc...
Your right I can weld round small diameter tubes much much smaller and thinner than we have here and your also right ruffian is not there YET!!!
He will get there though if he keeps at it. He’s taking a risk applying this to an actual job mind I think he should start cutting up some scrap tube and practicing. The job that’s already been done I would also be cutting off and starting again.
