Help with Autolynx Mig Welder.

    Hi All
    I am looking for help to solve a wire feed motor drive issue on the above welder!
    Can anybody help or supply a wiring diagram? the serial number is 8M151 and i believe its 160A machine!

    Thank you for the reply but this is different to mine. It seem like mine is a BOC Autolynx 2 (possibly) I don't know what age it is about 1980s id say. It has a serial number 8M151 on the back but matches the pictures of some welders on this Forums! I have asked a couple of guys on here if the have any info to help.

    Most of the BOC Autolynx problems seem to be down to loose wires on terminal strips, or dry joints on PCBs.

    Well done eddie. I've been telling people this for years - check the soldered joints every time! I have repaired so many of these machines by using a magnifying glass and a soldering iron. Probably only fitted 3 new components in all my years. But still folks insist on changing transistors/resistors/etc first. These PCBs were well designed, made with good quality components, then soldered incredibly badly. Shame really... Dave
