ok i just recieved my 160 mma set and it came with out a plug and says i need a blue industrial plug and socket its 240v i was just expecting to plug it into a normal house plug socket can i do this?

its a bit like christmas day getting the latest toy to realise your dad forgot the effin batteries?

Stick a decent quality 13A one on it, the worst that can happen is the fuse will pop if you push it too far.
If you find you can't get the higher ranges out of it then it's time to look at getting a 16A supply installed but a 13A plug will get you playing.

same story with mine which arrived yesterday, stuck a 13 amper on it and it ran a rod at 160amps no sweat, ill see if itl run a 200 amps......

'Should' be fine at a max of 160A on a domestic socket. Probably. Al.
