That's quite useful as I need a few parts for it, stright up I need some injector seals before I can think about firing up the engine

Your car has the northstar engine...?

You may get them from US automotive in Bedford...
or cheaper from the states..

tip for you parm, if you use shiply, or uship, or anyvan, make sure the transporter has the right insurance, and are legally able to carry the weight of your car they can put what they like in the profiles, if their stopped by vosa and are not correct it will cause you problems you dont want, regards getting your car to you, or being impounded into a vosa site, you will get your car but its the hassle you really dont want, its a lot better now on the sites and vosa have weeded out a lot of them, but there are still some chancers about......... how do i know........ i was moving cars on these sites and picked up work from customers who had used shady transporters, i dont do this type of work now due to health reasons, but just be aware, and read their feed back carefully

I dont think so, car is 1977 and i suspect it has the original 350 Cubic Inch engine (5.7L).

Im sure soemone will be along to confirm or correct me

it will have a 350ci possibly one of the 1st with fuel inj...

It is and im not sure about the fuel injection system. Its been off the road for 30 yeras parked in my garage in London. Im selling house so now need car in my new house. So far over the years ive rebuilt the brakign system, all four corners, new suspension at the back, new exhaust, and sorted all electrics so everythign works. I was having issues with two sensors in the engine (hot and cold start i think) they were quite elsuive to buy as they arent made any more, but ive got two tested second jobies. Once car is with me i need to change injector seals which i know leak before i can fire up the engine. Thinking about this more injector seals have probebly been perished for a lonf tiem thus causign some of the issues i was expereincing with the engine.

With seals changed, cahnge of all oils and fluids, turn engine over by hand it shoud be ready to start up. All it then needs is for hoses, pipes etc to be checked and hopefuly off for an MOT, oh and a new set of white wall tyres too.

Any one suggest what else may need to be checked ??
