Hello all, new to the forum but hopefully you'll be able to help me. Im new to :welder: but want to learn. I have been given a Powercraft gasless mig but iv had a problem with it. The grandfather has give it to me and said he's never taking it out of the box and is brand new. I set it up, went to pull the wire through the hose and realised that the groved wheel that feeds the wire through isnt turning, so its not passing the wire through. i have searched google and have realised that powercraft (wolf) is no more. Can someone point me in the right direction of spares or how i would go to repair the motor, or if it could be anything else?

Thanks for any advice in advance. :D

It would have come from Aldi with a 3 year guarantee. Aldi told me that they would honour the guarantee (somehow) even though Wolf has gone bust. So if it ever fails and needs attention, I suggest you take it back to Aldi with the original receipt.

bright spark not being very bright, see above as i fixed it. It was a loose connection going into the motor. Used it today and it worked lovely, same cant be said for the quailty of my work though. haha.

Thank you for the information george, i did read the warrenty, but i dont have the purchase reciept as i was given the welder by my grandfarther.
