Help me wire this switch....

As part of a small project, I need to wire this switch which will be fed 9V DC.

The battery will have just the two wires, but as you can see, the switch has 5 x connectors on the back. Presumably I'll need to bridge some of the terminals...but which ones?

You won't necessarily have to bridge any connections apart from the common for the light - the 5 terminals mean you can choose between NO (normally open, the default mode for most applications) or NC (normally closed, used when you want to use the switch to break a circuit). You will only connect up to 4.

Did you see that there is a wiring schematic on the page lower down? It states 12V/24V so only question is whether the LED will work but I would guess it will. The only link really is connecting the Common on the switch to the -ve of the LED. When you press the switch the NO (Normally open) will connect to the C (Common). You need a +9V feed to the + terminal of the LED, 0V to the NO terminal and whatever you are turning on +9V to positive supply and the 0V of whatever you are switching to the C (Common) switch terminal.

No normally open.

Nc normally closed.
