I'm currently looking into buying a mig welder for some light/medium work (chassis repairs on a reliant scimitar and a reliant kitten and some structural work up to 4mm)
Ideally the budget with a welding mask and gas bottle/wire, etc should't go over £1000, so with that in mind I have been looking at some of R tech welders (MTS255S) wich might be a bit over budget, but could double as a lift tig wich is nice and the sinergic controls sound nice and user friendly.
It would also have to be able to be run from a 13 amp socket (even if not to full potential) and have a decent build quality (this R tech has some nice features like the metal rollers/tensioners, not plastic like some)
What would you recomend? Also had a good look on the GYS one that it's for sale in here and if still available, that might be a option and really in budget, but know nothing about them GYS welders...
