Help Im new to this

hi all after reading these pages for a while now i seek your advice!!!
I am just about to start the restoration of an old mini, mainly replacing floors, sills and boot sections, and a few localised repairs to body panels, and i really dont know what i need.
I was thinking either a clarke 135 or 150 / 151. I have contacted machine mart and they have all in stock but which would be best ??
Any help appreciated before i ask Weldequip for a quote

Hi and welcome - Clarke welders are generally highly thought of on here for DIY use and many members use the models you mention for car restoration and find them very satisfactory. Gas-less welding has a few fans but only a few as the quality of the weld is not so good and there is a lot of spatter.
If it is important to get the very cheapest possible deal then Machine Mart is hard to beat although Weldequip can usually match their price and you get personal service and excellent backup - He would also be able to give you informed advice about which model would best suit your needs - Highly recommended.
