help identifying vintage rods

hi trying to id some vintage rods i came across and suggestions for uses
firstly these hymet deepex r0309, cant find any info atall
then chromoid 5, seem to be a standard that went obsolete in the 70s?
then these armoid 1 i can find the modern equivalent but does anyone have any suggestions of what they would be useful for apart from armor plating?

I also have some Hymet rods left in a pack same as yours, good on most types of stainless but will only work on dc.

Quasi-arc there's another oil cooled welder manufacturer from days gone-by, better than an Oxford, if only because they had a linear rotary amperage control screw handle, but oddball cable connectors...

He seemed a nice bloke. He knew a couple of my workmates from their Crane Fruehauf day's.

yeh most have coatings intact, have got ay least 25.boxs.of the old armoids, would they be any use as hardfacing/ building up damage on old vices or repairing old ploughs?

Got them from somewhere years ago and never used until I bought the IFL inverter as I only had ac before (and now only have ac again since the IFL packed up). Can't say if there was a preferable polarity for these rods but I nearly aways used electrode positive and didn't change because of using these rods.
They were suitable for 316L and lower quality stainless and stainless to mild steel, label has got tatty and I can't see what I would like to see on it now.
From what I remember they are a good enough all position welding rod with high tensile strength and nice finish welds. These are 3.25s or maybe they were 10
swg at the time when I got them.

I meant armour as in the 20ish tonne of Covenanter tank sat in my mates yard needing extensive armour repairs, rather than a dusty suit of it!
