I have a smallish trailer that I have had for ages (25 years plus) That I got second hand and I've never had a spare wheel for it. As it's sat for the last 5 years, now I'm putting it back in service I am putting new tyres on (well new second hand!) and it's time again to hunt for a spare rim .
It is a16 15 inch rim with 5 studs with 3 inches stud to stud, and a 3 inch central hole. The offset (is that the right word?) is about 4 inches.
The tyres on it at present which are 175/70R15 86H came from my neighbour about 15 years ago off (I think) the MGA that he used to race.
Seeing the studs to clip a chrome wheel cover on puts me in mind of Austin Cambridge or similar but I've nothing to compare it to.
Any help identifying what this rim is off would be gratefully received as would a rim !!!!
Thanks in advance
(This trailer brought my 3/4 ton Bridgeport milling machine home, has moved two sectional concrete garages that I scrounged, and many full loads of 20 mm ballast for concrete making - I bought it off a chap who serviced JCB's and he'd made it from 3 mm plate to move big digger buckets! )
