IKR, I am just lurking now, waiting to see if my cunning plan is wrong. If no one says anything, I'm going to install a paperclip...

Lol, you could take that attitude with a lot of things in life but then you'd never learn or do anything.![]()
Somethings are safer than others to mess about with
Personally think if you cant work something out like this you probably are not competent to read whats what then apply it in practice

Genuine laugh out loud. Thanks for that!![]()
pumps there for central heating not for hot water side of it
the flue pump will start up though
check your install stats on your instructions has a diagnoses at end to point roughly what it is
but ya dont have to believe me and i have a vailiant in the house and repaired your model who someone messed with casued more damage due to them messing around in there boiler
like you wont get it serviced and expect it to last years his lasted 14 years and melted the aluminium plate on the front that caused a fire within the boiler
He's not messing with the gas or flu so worth a look anyday. I found the old boiler PCB was knackered on mine as when i tapped it the thing would fire up so a trip to CET to see the big man and one new board installed got it working.
£35 cash and one happy tennent!

Couple of known faults on those boilers including the gas pipe leaking
@bigegg I cant remember what I swapped on yours but it went from being simple to less simple
It was all bits on the water side, AFAIR?
I think the condensate leaked, rotting the water pipes and gas pipe plus the diverter popped
and the punter says it was ok till you worked near itHaving fitted a number of kitchens around boilers seems they have a habbit of devoloping a leak from the slightest touch when you least need it

Since you serviced my boiler the toilet doesn't flush properly......
went to a house today to fix a cooker hood she had another electrician change a cooker unit and it supposedly went bang just as he left and she blamed him . hardly likely i said more than likely a bulb has gone and popped the fuse in the spur behind the chimney on it . surely enough it had . nowt to do with him but it just goes to showSince you serviced my boiler the toilet doesn't flush properly......
