I can just about imagine the phone call to the Numatic Help Line now ...
one thing I will say about them. We have had a few in the repair café. Dead, not working 20% were the cable breaking at the point it goes to the track to enable it to retract. normally about 3'' from the end. We usually chop about a foot of cable off to make sure. reconnect, reassemble and then pass it to our pat tester guy. job done, happy client. (the others are just blocked pipes.)

Yeah I've seen that plenty of times, it;s one of the reasons I know how to tke them part so readily. They also suffer from duff switches.

Green one is George, my Minion has never forgiven me for selling ours. I will pul henry apart later and see what model number is on the motor, the only thing I will say is this is the modern version with the "eco motor" all my others are the full fat versions and no problems at all.

I've fixed a few Henry's and it's been 50/50 the switch or the flex breaking inside.
If he's howling the motor is probably gone. You can get pattern motors on Ebay for about £30
You'll need either a T27 or 30 Torx screwdriver to get the motor out.

Reminds me of a chap I worked with who was tattooed from head to foot, as he was a muppets fan he had those all over his body with Gonzo tattooed there so you can imagine what Gonzo's nose was

Would like one for the garage. Guy on Facebook sells them near me. Seem to all be £60 second hand with new hose and tools. Assume you could pick one up a bit cheaper?
