I appreciate that as an ex right hand lane hugger, and the change to a real vehicle may seem a little daunting.
So to help you along you must first locate the steering wheel, or in bmw terms the device to ensure that you stay firmly in the bmw only lane. Here is a picture of a Lexus steering wheel to help.

The arrow shows where the indicator switch is located.

The switch is very easy to operate and simply requires pushing up gently towards the windscreen before you decide to turn right. Alternative gently pulling the switch downwards just before a left turn is going to be required.

Do not panic if you witness a green flashing light on the instrument panel or worry about the accompanying clicking sound. These are just to let you know that your direction indicators are functioning.

I want one for little jobs in peoples houses, especially changing taps and rad valves when u spill a little water. The plug in one is big and cumbersome

It’s does what it says. It’s a nice size and got plenty of room in the tank.

You have to take the filter out before you hoover wet stuff but I think that’s standard?

Blower is alright. Nothing to write home about.

I have one of those bought for hooking up to wood working tools but I use it for everything from cleaning up spills (remember to remove the filter) to cleaning the cars, I don’t use it so much for the tools and just vac it up afterwards. I run it on a 4amp battery and gives me around 20 mins runtime.

What battery tool line do you use already @slim_boy_fat ? We purchased a few of the Milwaukee 18v models that @James1979 showed earlier in this thread for the pupils to use for their car valeting tasks and they've done the job well, good size and power for that usage. Tools store nicely inside as well. If you don't already have the batteries and the charger it may well be one of those slipperly slopes that ends up with a lot more tools being purchased over the next year!

If the battery is not great then start afresh and see what platform or vacuum suits your needs and go from there.

If the battery is decent and a reasonable size what’s the Bosch offering like?

What is the Lidl version like, is it any good?
I've an old Dyson handheld in the garage but it's battery doesn't hold much charge anymore. Considering a HD corded version that would cope with dusty workshop environment.

Their 18V vacuum has pretty good suction. Clogs quite easily though, with fine dust. Only has a filter. You can't use a bag due to it being a swirl/cyclone type design.
