Help Bubble Gum Beads !

New to mig welding. Started welding roll cage tubing and bead is high and looks like a bead of corking. The pipe is 1 5/8 .135 thick. My setting are 5 speed and 5 power. I don't know if Im welding to slow, or gas pressures are off. Im using a snap on mig welder. Please Help this is small race car project and don't want to TIG. Any post will help. Thank You

0.135 will need about 150 amps. What is the rating of your MIG?

What type of gas?

Size of wire?

Post some photos of the welds so we can see if there's anything going on that shouldn't. Better to use practice material off the car rather than diving straight in if the welder set up isn't working well.
