. Run a piece of kitchen towel under the tap and drape over the visor, leave for ten minutes wetting if required. The buggies with slide off. Save scratches 
Arai actually modified their standard european head shape a couple of years ago now , Ive an rx7rr and an rx7v , two totally different helmets , prior to that i had a scruffy quantum as a round town lid ,so if it got kicked i didnt mind , and it was the same as the rx7rr , but the v isnt ... and the size changed too , rr was a large , 59/60 but the v is a medium shell and 58 / 59 , from memory , so even with the same manufacturer i couldnt have ordered it with out trying it on .

...left them on for the pics that day as i earned them on a ride last summer. What i would recommend to others is budget for a new visor every new season,as you don't notice the decline in vision until you fit a new one and its like night and day..A genuine Shoei dark tint for mine is £65 and worth every penny
My old 853 Ducati which was a much sorted 748 used to be a fly grave yard , then I came up with the answer ,,, cling film , I used to do the screen and down over the headlights with cling film ,, then get home and just peel off the bugs saved a lot of time cleaning , now ive got a gs 1200 and i just wash it at the end of the year , before i put it away for the winter.Yea that's what i do too,works great

More likely 10 years old (at least)... Its successor the XR1100 was discontinued at least 5 years ago - I know as I got one of the last ones (heavily discounted). I think the NXR is the latest version.

Assume that was instoreMy BIL bought a Doohan rep Arai RX7 just before the lockdown from Sportsbike Shop Uk, the girl there sized it for him even down to adjusting the skull cap, cutting him a piece of foam for his forehead and ordering new cheek pads in the right size. Apparently she used to work for Arai following the world Superbike teams around!! Should think so tho for best part of £900!
