Hi - just found this excellent site

I've just been bought a Clarke 110e welder as an early xmas prezzie by my girlfriend. I have never welded before but it's a skill I've wanted to learn for a while.

I spent a few hours yesterday and today practising and have managed a few successful welds - and a lot of holes!

Glad I've finally had a go - really good fun !

Welcome. Maybe try and join a night class at your local college. Its a great place for learning the ropes, and well worth the money.
