I just wanted to say Hello and introduce myself. I am a Psychology Tech for a College, I build expermental apperatus for research. I found this site by accident and I am Glad that I did!

You name it!
I build a lot of different things, things that you can't buy "off the shelf". They come up with some CRAZY idea and I have to make it. They think because they can think it it should be something that can be built
, I have worked here for 20 years and they have not stumped me yet! (Sounds like I am bragging but i'm not). They sometimes come to me with sick drawings if I am lucky but most of the time they try to explain what they want and that drives me crazy 
, But I seem to get their idea down on paper and mke it work. We do all sorts of things i.e like making a pair of glasses that will make someone see in one diamension or making objects move in multiple directons at the same time or at different times. Yes I do work with rats also and no I don't build mazes for them to run thru....I wish it was that easy!
On the fact that they try and do the "MIND THING" I cut them off when that happens, I tell them That I know I am nuts and I can prove it.........I WORK HERE!, that sets them back a little so I can escape any further questions!
