Just a quick note to say hi.
I've come to welding through motorcycle restoration/ building/ fixing.
After a quote to weld a petrol tank, I though bugger that I'll have a go myself and bought a Clarke MIG 105EN Turbo.
I've been using it in No Gas mode and am not really happy with the results so hopefully next week I'll be picking up some gas so I can improve enough to tackle my new project which involves modifying and strengthening the frame of a Suzuki GSX1100 Katana.
Will post some pics of my welding for appraisal once I see what difference the Gas makes.
