Hello from the midlands

Hi everyone!

A newbie to the forum from the midlands. I've been reading for a short while but signed up today. I have a cheapo Parkside gasless mig and an almost as cheapo Clarke weld MIG145 Turbo which is why I needed this forum in my life. I've read some really interesting posts so far and will continue my search for answers!

Thank you, I'll definitely be asking a few! I've mig welded mainly automotive many years ago but only used Sealey and Clarke gas migs. Now that it's only for occasional use i thought I'd try gasless and that's where the search for answers began. I thought that it's only right to research on here before asking and I'm about ready to post a couple of questions over the weekend.

I’m not an experienced enough welder to answer your questions, but one thing I know is that a cheap gassless welder is going to do you no favours when beginning to weld.
