Hello - Ive been reading the forums for a couple of weeks and decided to join in.

Google brought me here while i was searching for a cheap gas supplier in the Leicester area,unfortunately there isnt one ..

I used to do a whole load of welding years ago on the maintainance of a frag plant and press and shear in the yards in leicester , but nowadays its just fun
stuff.
My 13 year old lad races a vauxhall nova "Junior Rod" ,supposed to be non contact - but he never fails to wipe it out , so theres always somthing to get the welder buzzing away. but it aint usually very pretty .

Heres a couple of pictures of the car before the season started - we bought it off a lad who'd reached the age limit of 16.

Gave it a coat of wilko gloss and my brother did the vinyls for us .

After Bashers first full season the nova is lookin a bit shabby - im currently trying to get the wheelbase back to 92" as it should be , its down to 90" on the outside and 89" on the inside ,it corners well tho

Ive been shortening the tie rods to pull the drivshafts off the bulkhead cos its creased in front of the suspension turrets and the fronts gone down - time to chop it up a bit and pull it about
