Hello There . Joined the forum for a bit of advice really and get a few tip iv got the chance of buying a nearly unused sip t35 gas/gasless £130, as im using a friends at the moment to restorate my mini. The Thing is iv read alot of bad revews on them aspesially the budget ones wich this one seems to be and I dont really want to buy a welder to be fixing it all the time or making modifications to to make it more reliable id rather spend a bit more or evan buy a new one any feed back on this would be appreciated aspecially off people with a sip welder.....thanyou askey

What do you want it for exactly? If its bodywork then i'd say that gasless MIGs and SIPs in particular wont do well on thin gauge steel. What is the friends welder are you using at the moment ?

Cheers for the replies. To be honest I dont really no the speck of the welder of my friends I think it belonged to his dads dads dad ha it has had sum hammer but still welds good enough but saying that iv only ever used one of the snap on welders a my old work place.iv been looking alot at welders the past couple of week and for the price im paying for this aint too bad and just making mods as I go along But read some people saying they dont weld properly from factory.. askey
