Silverline poor quality, not fit for purpose Heller or Dormer would be my choice every time.

Heller cobalt from toolstation are excellent..I used one 4mm bit to drill over 1000 holes in 1.5mm steel.. that was just one project. Still been using the same bit on other projects one year on. I have never sharpened this bit. Bought other sizes since because I am so impressed.

Whats with the 'toolstation' remarks? as far as I know these are german made bits.

Toolstation sell heller bits, amongst others.

Oh dear,I know toolstation do sell tat and I've stopped going there for that reason.....last resort will be there as there's a screwfix bang right next to toolstation.

Someone trying to put them out of buisness?

Screwfix are expensive since they sold out to kingfisher group (b&q)...The guy that sold it started toolstation and has since sold it to wickes.
I agree that toolstation do sell some rubbish (silverline) but also sell quality branded gear competitively.

also sell shnieder rcbo for 22 quid when all the robbing electrical wholesalers charge over 40 quid most dealers sell crap along with quality stuff. u get what u pay for

Was told that the same guy has now started another similar tool business!
