Can someone recommend a heavy duty 5" 110v angle grinder, for bevelling /cleaning etc 6mm plate, it is going to get a hard life.
And needs to be keyless blade change
I have an older model Metabo w14-125 ergo, and it's a beast compared to any other 5" I've used. The one you list is 500W more again so I imagine it'll cope with anything you throw at it.
has it got the safety clutch ,,, Ive used a Metabo grinder and find the safety clutch a bit intrusive.
I go through a lot of brushes so dont know about this m brush thing either ,,, some of my grinders could be on their eighth or more set of brushes , are the m brush ones replaceable or is the idea to throw the machine away at that point. ,,,
Metabo all the way! I have a metabo 5" & 6" and they are a really good workhorse with loads of power. Using them for long periods doesn't leave your hands numb thanks to a well balanced motor & anti vibe handles.
if you are looking for a robust grinder - milwaukee ag9 - 16years in my workshop, it is stronger than any of the 900w that I had a chance to work with.
