Heating equipment

I have most tools in my garage allowing me to work away at cars, however the one thing i do not have is an ability to heat up stubborn nuts/bolts when they are siezed or bend metal bar (nothing excessively large).

What would be the cheapest solution to allow me to successfully do this?
What do others use?

Will it be hot enough for what i need?
Would it get, say, a 10mm rod hot enough to be bent easier?

Seen several advertisements in garage trade mags for induction heaters. Claim to heat a 19mm nut to red heat in 30 seconds with no flame or fire risk.
However expensive compared to conventional "flame" devices.

Just be sat down when you get a price. A mapp will hear bar to be bendable but if your doing a lot icy fuel is better

How long does the gas last roughly?

I noticed the ads for the mini ductor a couple of months ago and thought it looked handy and as usual they're a rip off in the UK. On the web they seem to be around £600 in the UK and around $450 in the US.....

Looking at the web site one of the two 'authorized' sellers is snap on, that explains the UK price hike

Induction heaters what a tool heats in seconds no flames = safer mates son has made a 4 branch manifold with all bends using one not at all bad especially as it was his first effort using the tool, heating 3/8 bar no trouble the other thing is you heat fast enough & that heat does not creep far

Hi guys I've seen these devices too. I've got a hideous job to do on pain Audi bolts seized in ally suspension uprights. I also spotted the price difference between UK and Us. Looks like the importers are having a laugh. Has anyone worked out a DIY solution?
