Heated body warmer

Winter is coming .
I am starting to feel the cold more now .
Still working but at a much steadier pace .
The service / tyre lad at work .
Has a heated jacket Milwaukee 12 volt job (200 quid worth).
Are the Ebay 40 quid jobs any good .

its either i warmed up the workshop or id buy insulation overalls

insulation clothes have come along way compared to what they once was

i have the thick orange one i got off @Burdekin not even worn yet though they wouldnt be worth wearing much on underneath it as its red hot without it

I suffer with very poor circulation to my extremities!! My feet would be painfully cold in just a short time in the garage in the winter, My elder son bought me some heated insoles for my boots that were battery powered, the rechargeable batteries ere just a little smaller than a packet of cigarettes, Three heat settings on each battery and they actually did work, on the lowest setting they would work for up to five hours, New batteries are needed now, very expensive, works out cheaper to buy a new set of insoles,

I too have some quilted overalls gifted to me by a previous employer, its rare feel cold in them, but head, hands and feet feel it.

i did have a 12v body warmer thing for on the bike in winter. Worked but wasn't brilliant. But if the core is warm the rest tends to follow.

I bought a 3xl off eBay and it's more like large or xl ! I assume the sizes are those of Chinese people ?

I play golf with an old man who feels the cold. He got a few rechargeable hand warmers, puts a couple in internal pockets and that’s enough to keep the him warm. Wears mittens with hand warmers in them too, not handy if your using your hands though

Can't comment on the £40 Ebay heated jackets but skiing has taught me the that warm boots are the most important for me putting on cold boots draws all the heat from your feet I use ski boot heaters overnight but subsequently found out that forestry workers use similar things at about 1/2 the cost.
