I don't really know how best to describe this, but im looking for whatever tool that may be used to crimp together plastic PVC sheets.
If youve seen the edges to those clear plastic book protector things, it's that that I'm after, although I guess they're crimped and stamped on production lines and I'm looking for a device that would be more akin to a sewing machine or hand tool.
This sort of cover -
Also seen on things like kids pencil cases. They heat crimp them and then turn them inside out so the crimped seam is on the inside.
Also seen on the vinyl covers of various bits of old equipment. Maybe something like the dust cover of a microscope etc.
Possibly it's like a heated roller or something. I really don't know. But I'm hoping someone here does?
Thank you.
