Someone on this forum was "quite forceful" about his opinion about welding on cars... (we all know who it was!)
Reckons there was no risk....!
Makes you think about the power of EMF fields and HF TIG starts - how one electrical field affects the function of a "hall effect circuit with capacitor fitted to discharge" - because there is very little difference between a "pacemaker" and a "drive phase driver circuit" in an automotive ECU. Obviously the member is question will disagree (as normal)...
Absolutely no offence meant or given in the above statement....
The clever thing is to accept the risk and try and reduce the risk....
