Boots and Specksavers seem to have the search engines sown up
Quote "Would basically avoid your high street gaffs such as Boots, Specsavers, etc. They’re purely salespeople looking to punt the most expensive aids they can to folk, they are totally tied in to one or two brands, but they’re going to end up being an R-tech mig for the price of a fronius tig."
I went to Specsavers via the NHS because it was handier for me, there was absolutely no selling involved, they tested my hearing and supplied me with NHS hearing aids, and they send me replacement batteries through the post. I was also contacted after a couple of years saying I was due for another test and they replaced my old ones with a later model. So no direct cost to me, I still only use them for watching TV at the moment
Try and experience as much of the environments that have given you issues. I did and had mine turned up upon review. My first year review will be soon I think.Well the hearing aids are in set up and working.
To say that I am pleased would be a understatement .
The lad that set them up spent a hour getting them spot on .
I can adjust them with my mobile phone .
Going for a review in 3 weeks in case they need tweaking
£1800 well spent
