Merged your post with the existing thread PF, all your questions should be answered if you have a read through it but general consensus is that it is made by wolf and most likely doesn't come with a regulator.![]()
I presume the torch is piped for gas as it can be used either way I've just picked one up, and it's even better than I first thought;
1. It is a non live torch, so easy to use.
2. It actually comes with a can of gas, mini regulator (I guess for disposable cans?), normal and flux cored starter spools, and a face shield (next to useless though!)
3. 5 spare tips, 2 x 0.6, 2 x 0.8 and one 0.9 for MIG.
So all in all a great package for the money, much more than I was expecting. I was expecting to have to pay a bit more for the regulator and gas, but since its in there already, I'm very happy!
It doesn't come with a plug, it says it can operate from a normal plug for low settings, but for high settings it needs a 30 amp fused spur. Good job I had one fitted when I had the garage built!
There was only one on display though, I'm guesing because the shelving couldn't carry many of them...or their stock is limited...

, made the mistake of buying an aldi powercraft no gas mig welder a couple of years ago . What a pile of junk usuall problems with eratic wire feed , wire sticking to the tip etc

There's one waiting for me when I get back home on Friday
I would have preferred a Clarke 151EN but they're not sold in Ireland, and the cost of shipping would be huge
