Thought I'd share my experience of the Cerakote kit, it's not cheap at about £30 but importantly does include a post coating to protect from future UV damage.
Kit consists of some pre-wipes (4 per headlight) to remove surface oxidation, 2000 and 3000 grit wet and dry (with palm holder) and the ceramic coating wipes (1 per headlight)
It's simple to use following the 3 steps - wipe, sand, wipe. If your headlights have bad surface damage you'll need to go coarser than the 2000 to start and work your way through the grades. Mine weren't too bad but there was a frosted area at the top.

And a video of the ceramic coating going on...not easy holding phone and wiping so apologies for poor framing.
