Hi All,
After a trip through the recent floods, my discovery 2 facelift headlights ended up with water in them, which has left a mess inside. I’ve cracked them open, going well so far, however, the reflector used for the indicator and sidelight is a weird coating, just wiping with a micro fibre cloth has caused some of the reflective coating to come off - it isn’t a full coating like the main beam / high reflector, it almost just looks like spray paint, only in the reflector itself.
I just wonder if anyone can recommend something that will work to re cost them, I looked for some kind of mirror paint but not sure what I should be looking for. Or is it worth just getting them replated.
I guess they are much less important than the main beam, but I may as well make sure they are right.
