Or possibly a better idea; any old car with a towbar and I'll get a trailer.
What about one of these as a practical vehicle:

Thinking about it all a bit more, I think the only way I'm getting more machines is in a year or so when I can drive so I'll be able to go and collect it myself...
Which means I really need to be saving to get a car. And as I'm not gonna get any proper machines in a Corsa or a Punto, what do you think to a landrover as a first car?
Yes I can but I need to take the universal head off which is very heavy. I'll try later. Can you not drill things sideways as it were

small it seems quite large to me lolThat herbert Mill is quite similar to my 0V. The 0V takes proprietary collets so I had mine modified to R8 taper. It'd make a nice small mill.
You'll be lucky to afford the insurance on even a pissy sized engine motor when you first start, so I'd scrub any load lugging ideas.
Honestly, kids these days. I'd be happy just to have a mill, ne'er mind bitching about any possible shortcomings. Kids these days don't know they're born.
Can you rotate the universal head through 90 degrees and feed the table sideways to drill? You would need a 90 degree angle block to drill flat stuff.Yes I can but I need to take the universal head off which is very heavy. I'll try later.
Didn't think of that, it would work. Can you rotate the universal head through 90 degrees and feed the table sideways to drill? You would need a 90 degree angle block to drill flat stuff.
