that is the original post from a while ago.

I posted this morning asking if anyone had a copy of a 64 bit installer for that program and I had replies.

but now I want to update the thread to say I have a working copy, however I cannot activate it a the keygen doesn't give a good code

Torrent sites were being mentioned which led me to believe you were discussing circumventing copy protection, if that is not the case then please feel free to repost.

well, that wasn't the original idea, I simply wanted someone with a legit copy of a 64-bit installer to send me that sole part so I could install the program I have on my laptop, however the reply was to download the full program from torrent.

anyhow, I have now managed to get a good copy of the installer files, but am now finding that I cannot activate the program with the activation codes given to me with the program.

the product codes are all fine and I can run the program, but only as trial. I have the full program but the activation code is duff and was wondering if there is a legit way around this

Brokenbiker , you can get a legit copy of 2d solid edge free of charge from the siemens website, you just have to fill in the online form, its really quick and imho a better program than autocad.

You can get a legit code for Auto Cad (or inventor, or ... )free if it is for a bona-fide student.
Like a school kid, or a student at the Open University.

it is a legal copy, purchased by a friend, with permission to license on up to 5 separate machines.

it is currently licensed on 2 machines and trial on mine.

however I have now got it running and activated offline (I knew that btec section on programming would come in handy at some point)

all legit and autoDESK have sent me a confirmation email so happy days
