Has Hitachi invented wireless suppression?

Got a cheapish 9" Hitachi grinder as a standby grinder, normally I go for the all metal body ones but I was needing a 4 1/2" one and I got a deal on a set.
Anyway as with the cheaper ones the cables are not very long so I got a length of cable and set about replacing the original. I opened it up and found this, what the heck or words to that effect were uttered

The thing is there doesn't even seem to be any place to connect them up. Whether wires are meant to be soldered on to it and the leads attached somewhere I don't know. Don't recall seeing one on the other 9" grinder I have but I suppose I will have to open it up to see.

Put some 2 pin cable connectors on your tools and just have one extension to plug them into, you don't need to take your tools to bits to do it. I have them on my jigsaw and hot air gun. My old Metabo grinder had suppression across the power lead inputs but it still made the radio buzz.

Well, as far as I recall the regs state that suppression must be present - I don't remember it actually saying it has to be connected...

Suppression has to be present for the one they send for approval, optional on subsequent production units.......
