Has anyone got a Laycock overdrive unit on or under the bench?

I may have found the reason my Jaguar Mk2 overdrive unit does not work! it does not build any oil pressure, I found a rod is missing, item 30 on the diagram, if someone has an A type COMPACT o/d unit could they measure the rod fitted just above the pump plug.......................the four bolt side cover and rear mounted solenoid are more or less unique to an A type compact unit as opposed to an A type unit.

I have spare LH, D type etc. but no compact type A........ seems to be mainly Jaguar and 1965 onwards that used them.....................
