its at the Yorkshire Event Centre (where the Great Yorkshire show is held) and price on the door is £15

this show is what used to be the show at Doncaster. at the begining of this year it wasn't officially going to happen and was only finalised at the end of January/ early February. there two halls to this event, the other one if for model railways. Only time will tell if this is a successful exhibition or not.

The midlands model engineering show would be on a similar scale, and there also use to be one at Alexandra Palace.

yeah it did, I heard it moved to Doncaster as it got to expensive to hold it at Harrogate.

Bought my lathe there a decade of so ago - and watched, amazed, as the price has more than doubled since.

went there 2 day . a good turn out and plenty of exhibits there was a dealer that goes to ruffoth with a big stall selling files abrasives and tons of other stuff at a decent price bought a load of quality slitting disks that worked out at 40 pence each got some lathe tools of another guy i see at the autojumbles and got some centerdrills and bits and pieces of jenny Beaumont at a good price. they mainly do carbide tooling

I went there today and yesterday, today was much busier than yesterday and I think that could have been due to the weather. today I spent most of the day talking to visitors and playing with the matchbox lorry, and having that running around exhibits on the club display. I did change the motor last night as it didn't have enough torque to work on the carpet tiles on the stand. I also got into a discussion with the editor of Model Engineer and he was saying that my models builds should be serialised in the magazine, but remember if they ever do appear in print, remember you saw them here first.
I think the mix of model engineering and model railways worked well, as there is a crossover between the two types of modelling, and had a fair few of the railway modellers getting more interested in the model engineering. Having both model engineering and model railways together would have got more people in that having separate exhibitions, so hopefully this is the start of an annual exhibition Harrogate, but only time will tell. The first one is now done, and its been good for seeing people (and models under construction) that you havnt seen for a long time and to have a good old chat and catch up.

Some old **** pushed my father with his mobility car twice , my father was in pain with a cracked vertebrae from a fall but he didn’t know it was that serious at the time.
Sometimes I wish I wasn’t a gentleman and not a bully as I should have buried a lump of iron in the *******s head
Vowed never to go again

dont tar everyone with the same brush .some old farts go down the town and people are jumping out of there way
