What can did you use...Luton box or bigger? I'm contemplating how to shift it, I think official max of most tail lifts is 500kg, I believe the M300 weighs 650 - 700kg...hiring a van to collect it.
I hunted around for a decent one for 2 years till one came up.....still worth the day off work and hiring a van to collect it. Fitted mine with a VFD........simples. And Im no Electrician. The motor is compatible, and easy to convert. Had mine for 5 years now, and a great improvement over my previous AUD. Came with all the toys like yours

I don't have a tow hitch and the business doesn't have access to a forklift (they used to use a company in the next unit but they've moved out).
I'm contemplating a few ideas:
I can hire a 7.5tonne lorry with 750kg tail lift (probably about £150/day). I have some help (un)loading but know it's not going to be easy.
Or I could leave it to a professional company to load, transport and unload for £250-300.
Bit tempted by the latter.
£250 Is cheap if they have a hiab. Guessing it is close by?I don't have a tow hitch and the business doesn't have access to a forklift (they used to use a company in the next unit but they've moved out).

I think that's a good deal. I've just paid over £1000 to a HIAB company to get a mill and lathe moved 300+ miles this week Is a bit gutting, but I just couldn't find a safe cheap option.Or I could leave it to a professional company to load, transport and unload for £250-300.

Wasn't able to find anyone this end of the country that would rent me a 7.5 ton (as a non-business customer), and 4wd + trailer hire was coming out at £750+ by the time I'd factored in excess mileage charges and fuel.
In the end I just had to suck it up, didn't want to mess the seller about and lose the items.. It's a lot of money, but not unreasonable I reckon for HIAB and driver, 600+ mile round trip over 2 days.
Travelling steady is cheap. Fixed steady is expensive and the one you want.Well I can confirm I am now the owner of a Harrison M300
That's the good news, unfortunately when I went to view it I was shown accessories that belonged to their Colchester
They've sorted out accessories for the Harrison and I'm viewing them tomorrow. I'm told there is a collet chuck with collets - it's the quick release style. Unfortunately they can't find the (traveling) steady .
All a bit disorganised...what could possibly go wrong.
Easiest machine Ive ever moved, and if you have a value to your time, pro is actually probably cheaper. From arriving to being in place 25 minutes. All I had to provide was a sheet of ply to ramp up into my shed.
