Diagram 4.9.2 on the set-up guide shows the connections you need to make on the inverter assuming you have the version without the integral switch; the existing E-stop and apron lever microswitches will (probably; it's dependent on which settings)be connected via terminals 1, 2 and 3.
Sorry, I thought you were referring to problems with the control wiring. I struggled with setting the parameters on both my vfd's- one is a Huanyang and the other is a Lenze. Both involved reading the manual many times before it eventually started to become clear. Know exactly what you mean about the people that write these things.
ps Autocorrect - for video read vfd in my previous post.
Been a bit slack for work today (self employed) so have been getting me head around this VFD I have to power the M300 its took me most of the day to sort it with some temporary wiring and going through the manual but have got to an result im ok with, and that's all using the original switches on the M300 the only mod I did was to reverse the wiring to the foot stop micro switch.
Also have solved the screw cutting gear box problem..... just set the lathe up to do 1.25 mm thread and the checking with a thread gauge it was out but now I know where the dial should be so all good.
I checked the speed against the speed chart not far out close enough.
Heres a little video sorry about the sound
why does my video come out narrow from me i phone ?
