Hi chaps and chapesses,
I've had a nuisance oil leak on the apron of my Harrison M250 now for...well, since I bought it. So getting on for ten years. Anyway, I finally have the correct number of circular shaped tuits, so I decided it was time to fix it.
Under the apron there is a roughly rectangular shaped cover plate and this is where the leak is coming from. I managed to get access to it from below without doing anything too invasive.
So I've taken this cover off and I'm letting it drain. The gasket was damaged and I will make a new one. It took a long time to drain as the lubricant here is VG220 gear oil.
