Hi Brad, Ha ha, no. I had them 'gifted' to me for a favour I'd done. I think at the time they were around £20 each, but that was with a sizeable discount due to the company I was working for at the time. But crazy money though. As for making them, I don't yet have the skills, but one day...
You will kick yourself if you ever want to pass something long through the spindle bore. Unless you do a Keith Fenner and punch a hole in the wall.
Yeah turn that puppy around and put a tool cabinet with a nice top tray alongside the door perhaps with a shelf or cupboard above it for your dial gauges etc, or when you lose a stub up inside the spindle it's make you very angry...
Ha ha, I very nearly did the other day. However, it turns out that the piece of pipe I wanted to put through was too large a diameter at 21.5mm ! So at the moment, I'm still getting away with it I should ask, who is Keith Fenner?
I'm very lucky to have the "large" spindle bore...1 1/4” Keith fenner is a machinist with a YouTube channel, talented dude but too much chit chat and I think he has been a bit naughty with viewer donations recently.
What did I miss? I know that people were donating to help him relocate after his marriage break-up. The "Murica is great" thing at the start is also annoying so I avoid the first few minutes of each video now.
[QUOTE Keith Fenner is a machinist with a YouTube channel, talented dude but too much chit chat and I think he has been a bit naughty with viewer donations recently.[/QUOTE] What's this Keith Fenner gossip? I've followed him for years, he's not for those of us who have ADHD! You have to be patient, there are some interesting bits, but he shows every chip coming of, speaks in a weird way (even for a "Merican") and does a "dumb" boy scout introduction! Cheers, Matthew
