Any ideas on what the scrap value of the Harrison 140 is ,as in taking it to the scrap metal merchant
Worth more if you break it.Any ideas on what the scrap value of the Harrison 140 is ,as in taking it to the scrap metal merchant
Thanks Brad, it's not going to the knackers yard per say. I've been eyeing it up at a place nextdoor to where I work ,the guy said I could have it for scrap value . Unfortunately it's been stored outside without a cover for the past year or so which is sad .Worth more if you break it.
They weigh 700kg so at £180 a tonne, you're looking about £130
That will not be any good now. I will drive up from Kent to collect it, and save you all that bother. Thanks Brad, it's not going to the knackers yard per say. Don't worry about the motor, it's easily replaced. It's knackered ways and spindle you should be concerned about.I'm thinking the motor will be toast

Be fine where it is on the back, bearings will probably need replacing but the windings will be fine as long as you don't try to power it up while its wet.I'm thinking the motor will be toast
