That looks very hot for a duplex base metal.

Agree with Brad, whilst those weld runs look neat they appear to have been deposited by weaving which massively increases the heat input and can totally wreck the properties of the Super duplex parent material, also the dilution will be high. Usually done by laying small stringer beads, but without knowing the exact application I’m probably talking fluent b*****ks

Duplex is sometimes used as a buttering layer for hard facing, I believe?
