As title suggests, I have been approached by a customer to build up the worn lower track rollers on his 17 tonner. Just wondering if anyone on here has tried such an adventure and/or asking opinions as to whether it is worth it. These rollers must be super hard as the machine has been tracked half way around the world since 1995 when it was made. New rollers are £silly and he knows a repair won't last forever but the chains are wearing badly and is just looking to keep it going for a bit longer...
So, hard facing-just how hard are ya??
